New Holland 8340 Specifications
The New Holland 8340 is a 2WD or 4WD row-crop tractor from PowerStar 40 series. This model was manufactured from 1996 to 1997. The New Holland 8340 driveline consists of 456 cu.in (7.5 L) Ford Genesis 4-cycle vertical 6-cylinder direct injection naturally aspirated liquid-cooled diesel engine with a rated power of 125 Hp (92.6 kW) and SynchroShift transmission with 12 forward and 12 reverse gears.
The open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with rated fluid flow of 17.4 gal/min (65.5 l/min). The New Holland 8340 is equipped with a hydrostatic power steering system, independent PTO type, hydraulic wet disc brakes, 10.00x16 (2WD) or 14.9x28 (4WD) front tires, and 18.4x34 (2WD) or 18.4x38 (4WD) rear tires. The tractor is compatible with Ford 7411 front-end loader or Ford 7413 front-end loader.
