New Holland 8240 Specifications
The New Holland 8240 is a two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive row-crop tractor from PowerStar 40 Series. This model was manufactured from 1996 to 1997. The components of New Holland 8240 powerline system: a 456 cubic inches (7.5 L) Ford Genesis 4-cycle vertical 6-cylinder naturally aspirated liquid-cooled diesel engine with a rated power of 110 hp (80.9 kW), and SynchroShift transmission with 12 forward and 12 reverse gears or ElectroShift transmission with 16 forward and 16 reverse gears.
The hydraulic system includes a gear pump (SL models) with rated fluid flow of 17.4 gal/min (65.5 l/min) or piston pump (SL models) with rated fluid flow of 19.9 gal/min (75.8 l/min). The New Holland 8240 is equipped with a hydrostatic power steering, independent PTO type, hydraulic wet disc brakes, 10.00x16 (2WD) or 14.9x28 (4WD) front tyres, and 18.4x34 (2WD) or 18.4x38 (4WD) rear tyres. The tractor is compatible with the following attachments: Ford 7411 front-end loader or Ford 7413 front-end loader.
